The Story in Detail: Feeling Unnoticed: Patch feels overshadowed by his 99 siblings and idolizes Thunderbolt, the star of “Thunderbolt Adventure Hour,” wishing to be special like him.
Accidental Separation: On moving day to a new home in the countryside, Patch gets left behind in London, a chance he seizes to find Thunderbolt’s auditions.
Meeting Thunderbolt: Patch meets Thunderbolt, who is revealed to be an actor, not a real hero. To maintain his image, Thunderbolt pretends to be a hero and enlists Patch to help with publicity, but their attempts fail.
